Duration & Times: 4 Days – 8:30AM-3:00PM EST
Locations for Training:
Course Description: In this Advanced Maya Training Class we will review the basics covered in Intro to Maya and dive further into hard surface modeling, technical modeling, organic modeling, and set modeling. You will learn to use light utilities to build advanced indoor/outdoor lighting rigs, and shaders with advanced texture networks to achieve the best possible results. We will also teach advanced rendering pipelines utilizing Maya Software rendering and the Arnold render engine using Render Layers, Batch Rendering and export the frames to Adobe Photoshop or After Effects to put the final touches on our still and animated shots. Advanced animation workflows and dynamic simulations will also be covered to create the most believable and realistic animation possible. The advanced class is also a great way to learn about all the new Features now bundled with Autodesk Maya like: the extended MASH toolset, 3D Type, Viewport 2.0 with Arnold, and the improved Motion Graphics Toolset used to create complex procedural effects.
Prerequisites: Experience with 3D modeling is recommended. Introduction to Autodesk Maya training class or equivalent experience. Students must have a good working knowledge of computers, operating systems, using a mouse, keyboard, standard menus and commands. Students must be able to open, save, and close applications and files, as well as navigate to other folders.
